RHYS KILLER MOVED TO'HARD'ADULT JAIL; He's petrified of revenge attacks.
THE thug jailed for killing schoolboy Rhys Jones is "trembling" in his cell after being moved to one of Britain's toughest jails.
Sean Mercer, now 20, was transferred in secret from Moorland Young Offenders Institute to the maximum-security Woodhill adult and youth jail in Buckinghamshire.
Prison governors acted after Moorland, in Doncaster, South Yorks, was trashed by inmates last month.
A source said: "Sean Mercer has gone from being the top dog at Moorland to a scared little boy out of his depth. The move to Woodhill has given him a dose of reality and he is petrified of the real-life gangsters, killers and terrorists he now has to live with. Mercer spends most of his time behind a closed door in his cell. He is terrified and knows he is a target because of what he did to Rhys." Mercer was "top dog" at Moorland after he attacked fellow killer Jake Fahri - serving 14 years for the murder of Jimmy Mizen, 16 - with sharpened tweezers. He was given 22 years for shooting Rhys, 11, dead in a pub car park in Liverpool in gang crossfire.
