RESTOR INDUSTRIES, INC. ANNOUNCES RECEIPT OF A NEW PAY TELEPHONE REFURBISHMENT CONTRACT FROM BELLSOUTH

 ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 10 /PRNewswire/ -- Restor Industries, Inc. (NASDAQ: REST) announced today that it has been selected by BellSouth Telecommunications, Inc., as its primary vendor for the repair and refurbishment of BellSouth's public pay telephones and related components. The company has executed a contract to provide these services through January 1996 with an additional two year extension available to BellSouth.
 John A. Carr, president and chief executive officer, said, "We are extremely delighted to add BellSouth as a new customer for our pay telephone refurbishment services. BellSouth represents the fourth regional Bell operating company to select Restor as a vendor for these products and services. We look forward to rewarding BellSouth with the same high quality, value-added products and services that our other customers have enjoyed since Restor acquired this business in 1990. The refurbishment services for BellSouth will be performed in the company's 27,000-square-foot facility in Dallas, Texas."
 Restor Industries, Inc. provides value-added services to the electronics and telecommunications markets, including repair and refurbishment of printed circuit boards and pay telephones, contract manufacturing and engineering and design support. The company's principal operations are based in Orlando with repair, distribution and engineering operations also located in Dallas, South Bend, Ind. and Beaverton, Ore.
