RESA Wearables Inc., a 3D-printed custom insoles maker, has established a joint venture with Shenzhen eSUN Industrial Co. Ltd to launch RESA Wearables state-of-the-art Scan, Design, Print kiosks in major retail centres throughout China.

The new partnership is called Shenzhen Resun Healthcare Technology Co. Ltd and the company says that it aims to disrupt the traditional foot care and custom orthotic insoles industries through its innovative technology and immediate delivery of custom insoles.

It is claimed that the kiosks will offer high-accuracy 3D foot scanning with dynamic capture and mapping of the digital image, artificial intelligence CAD insole design software, and on-site 3D insole printing technology. Customers can have their feet scanned, custom insoles designed to their exact foot shape, and a pair of medical-grade, fully custom insoles 3D printed within an hour. Through the joint venture, as well as eSUN's investment into RESA Wearables Inc.'s US company, eSUN and RESA will develop new proprietary materials and 3D printing techniques designed to introduce ongoing innovations to their insole products and new related technologies.
