RERA Chief meets property developers.

08 : 49 PM - 06/02/2018 Manama, Feb. 6 (BNA): Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA) Chief Executive Officer Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa today held a meeting with the Bahrain Property Development Association (BaPDA) members and real estate brokers. He updated them on the implementation of law 27 of 2017 on the issuance of the real estate regulation and the RERA-led role to set up the required legal tools, applicable, in particular, to real estate brokers, property managers and real estate appraisers. The RERA Chief stressed the necessity for all real estate officers to register in the coming period in their respective categories -- real estate brokers, appraisers and proper managers. He underlined the importance of training to hone the professional skills of brokers, managers and appraisers which, he said, will consolidate investors and dealers' trust in the sector. He stressed the crucial role of these professions in building relations between traders, buyers, international and foreign investors, and property developers, create business-friendly environment. He stressed their role in enhancing buyers' awareness, directing them to safe trading and advising them to purchase properties from accredited and licensed developers and projects approved by the Real Estate Regulatory Authority (RERA). "We have convened you to update you about your duties, rights and important role as real partners, hear your remarks and benefit from your expertise and knowhow", said Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al-Khalifa, unveiling plans to consolidate trust with brokers as essential partners in property trading.
