 REORGANIZATION STRENGTHENS SCHOTT CORPORATION
 YONKERS, N.Y., Sept. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Effective Oct. 1, 1992,


Scott America Glass & Scientific Products, Inc. and Schott Zwiesel Glass, Inc. will merge into Schott Corporation.
 Schott America will become the Technical Glass Division of Schott Corporation, and Schott Zwiesel will become the Consumer Glass Division. The announcement was made by Hans F. W. Moeller, president of Schott Corporation.
 Mr. Moeller also announced that as of Oct. 1, Juergen Ausborn will become vice president and general manager of the Technical Glass Division. Robert Fahlbusch will become general manager of the Consumer Glass Division.
 The Technical Glass Division will supply special glass for industry and science, while the Consumer Glass Division will supply Schott Cristal glassware for the household and institutional markets.
 The Schott Corporation is a member of the Schott Group (Germany), which employs more than 17,700 people worldwide and has sales exceeding $1.5 billion. The Schott Corporation (New York) is the group's headquarters in North America, where its ten divisions and subsidiaries employ nearly 2,000 people for the manufacture and distribution of special glass, instruments, systems and components for industrial and highly technological applications, and crystalware.
