RENO AIR REPORTS FEBRUARY TRAFFIC RESULTS

RENO, Nev., March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- Nevada-based Reno Air Inc. (NASDAQ: RENO (COMMON STOCK), RENOU (UNITS), RENOW (WARRANTS)) today announced the highest load factor in eight months of operation. The carrier, which began operations July 1, 1992, posted a 75.9-percent load factor for February, and flew 48.6 million revenue passenger miles (RPMs). Capacity for the month was 64.1 million available seat miles (ASMs) with 104,625 passengers carried.
"We've had the highest load factor in the industry for the past four months," said Jeff Erickson, president and chief executive officer of Reno Air. "Market demand for a full-service, low-fare carrier and the hard work of all the employees have been important factors for our early success."
Reno Air is a scheduled jet airline which serves its hometown of Reno/Tahoe, as well as Seattle, Portland, Ore., San Francisco, Ontario, Calif., Los Angeles and San Diego. Non-stop service to Minneapolis-St. Paul is scheduled to begin April 1. The carrier currently leases six 140-seat McDonnell Douglas MD-80s and recently announced plans to increase the fleet to 10 aircraft by this summer. The additional aircraft will be used to supplement existing routes.
