RENAISSANCE ENVIRONMENTAL CORPORATION WINS $30 MILLION GEORGIA CONTRACT

MIAMI, Dec. 13 /PRNewswire/ -- Renaissance Environmental Corporation (OTC Bulletin Board: RNNV) will build and operate a material recovery facility at the Columbia County, Georgia landfill, according to an announcement today by the Miami-based environmental services company.
Renaissance President and Chief Executive Jeffrey C. Nolan said the contract for the facility extends 10 years and includes a five-year renewable option. The total value of the contract could exceed $30 million, he added.
"Our proprietary technology will let us recover and recycle at least 30 percent of Columbia County's waste stream, which will significantly lengthen the landfill's usable life," Nolan said.
Additionally, Renaissance expects to be awarded a contract to operate the Columbia County landfill while conducting mining and recovery operations that will provide new capacity for solid waste at the facility, Nolan said.
Renaissance is an environmental services company headquartered in Miami. Its environmental services include recycling, landfill recovery, landfill operations and mining, and hazardous waste management, as well as related activities such as demolition, general construction, excavation and disaster response.
