REMINGTON APPOINTS THREE EXECUTIVES

 BRIDGEPORT, Conn., May 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Victor K. Kiam II, chairman and chief executive officer of Remington Products Company today stated: "With pleasure I announce the appointment of F. Peter Cunco as president and chief operating officer of Remington Products Company. In his capacity as chief operating officer, Peter will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the organization. All worldwide senior executives will report to him."
 "Peter brings a wealth of experience and success to Remington. He has a diverse background in consumer products and prior general management responsibilities in financial, engineering, marketing and international areas. He has served on the board of directors of Remington for the past several months."
 "Peter has a distinguished track record, having served in leading companies, with his primary career development occurring at the Bristol Myer's Company. In 1985 he became the president of the Clairol Personal Care Division, then president of Bristol Myer's Pharmaceutical Group in Canada in 1988."
 Cunco was subsequently president of the Security Hardware Group of the Black & Decker Corporation, a multi-national organization of six companies manufacturing and marketing consumer and commercial products with sales of $450 million.
 Peter is a graduate of the Harvard Business School with academic honors. He is also a Vietnam Veteran as an officer in the U.S. Navy.
 Mr. Kiam further stated, "I am also delighted to announce the appointment of Joseph Cioni as chief financial officer of Remington Products Company. Joe brings a wealth of widespread experience and accomplishments in the financial, administrative and operational areas."
 He was senior vice president and chief financial officer and later promoted to general manager of Pollio Dairy Products, the Italian cheese company with approximately $200 million in sales. He has also served as executive vice president and a director in other companies.
 Joe has responsibility for the accounting, treasury, human resource and system areas of Remington Products.
 Additionally, Mr. Kiam stated, "I am pleased and proud to announce the appointment of Tory Kiam as vice president of marketing and sales for Remington. In this capacity domestic sales and marketing will report to Tory and he will be involved in the coordination of international marketing functions. Tory has had a broad educational background and exposure as his career progressed to multi-faceted areas which have application to the progress and future of Remington."
