REGENCY INNS MANAGEMENT GROUP COMPLETES PURCHASE OF RADISSON HOTEL AND CONVENTION CENTER

 MINNEAPOLIS, July 29 /PRNewswire/ -- The Radisson Hotel and Conference Center, Plymouth, Minn., has been purchased by a partnership consisting of Regency Inns Management, Inc., and an investment entity of Wayzata based Milestone Hotel Investments, Inc. Regency Inns Management, Inc., a Sioux Falls, S.D., based hospitality company, has been retained by the partnership to manage the hotel and conference center, announced Donald W. Kelpin, executive vice president.
 The hotel was originally developed as the Scanticon Conference Center in 1987, and has been operated as the Radisson Hotel and Conference Center since July of 1991. Plans are to retain the Radisson franchise. Kelpin said, "We are impressed with the quality of service at this facility, and we intend to uphold the Radisson 'Yes I Can' service tradition."
 Michael Serr, a key management associate with Regency Inns Management for 14 years, has been named general manager of the Radisson.
 Kelpin said the hotel is generally in excellent condition, but some renovation will be done to the facility.
 Regency's philosophy is one of active community involvement. It is also a priority, Kelpin said, to maintain the reputation of the Radisson as a premier business conference center.
 Regency Inns Management, Inc., is a hospitality management and consulting firm which currently operates 28 other properties in the Midwest under several different franchise affiliations including Radisson, Hilton and Holiday Inn.
