REGAL WARE AND NATIONAL MEDIA CORP. SET JOINT MARKETING VENTURE; COMPANIES ESTABLISH WORLDWIDE MARKETING ALLIANCE

 PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- National Media Corporation (NYSE: NM), the global leader in direct response television marketing, and Regal Ware, Inc., the Wisconsin-based leader in the manufacture and marketing of housewares, have announced a partnership to market select cookware and small appliances on a worldwide basis through infomercials and retail distribution.
 The multi-year agreement calls for Regal Ware and National Media to closely collaborate on the design, manufacture, sales and marketing of a broad range of products. National Media will have exclusive rights to market the selected products through direct response programming around the world, and Regal Ware will retain exclusive, worldwide rights for retail distribution.
 According to a joint statement from Jeffrey A. Reigle, president and chief executive officer of Regal Ware, and John J. Turchi, Jr., chairman and chief executive officer of National Media, market introduction of the products is planned for the January 1994 International Housewares Show in Chicago.
 Mr. Turchi said, "We are very excited about the opportunities presented by our new relationship with Regal Ware. They are a world-class company and an industry leader whose products are well known for high quality."
 Mr. Reigle added, "At Regal Ware, we recognize the power of direct response television programming to introduce new customer segments to our products, and we further anticipate great results from the international distribution that National Media will provide.
