REED SMITH SHAW & McCLAY STRENGTHENS ITS POSITION AS A LEADING PHILADELPHIA FIRM AS MORE PROMINENT PHILADELPHIA ATTORNEYS JOIN

 PHILADELPHIA, May 20 /PRNewswire/ -- The law firm of Reed Smith Shaw & McClay announced that five leading Philadelphia attorneys, formerly of the firm of Horvitz, Fisher & Sedlack, P.C., have joined Reed Smith in its Business & Finance Department.
 These attorneys have significant experience in the tax, general corporate, and estate planning areas of the law which will expand and enhance the services Reed Smith provides for its clients.

Formerly, he was a trial attorney in the Tax Division, United States Department of Justice. Joseph M. Sedlack is a partner whose practice is concentrated in mergers and acquisitions, corporate, partnership, international transactions and real estate. Michael P. Haney is a partner whose practice is concentrated in state and local taxation and estate planning. Formerly, he served as a Trial Attorney for the Tax Division of the U.S. Department of Justice in Washington, D.C.
