 DALLAS, Feb. 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Recognition Equipment Incorporated


(NYSE: REC) (REI) shareholders, at the annual meeting held in Dallas today, re-elected three directors of the company in Class III with terms to expire in 1995. The directors re-elected were Gilbert H. Lamphere, Thomas A. Loose and Robert Vanourek.
 Lamphere has served as a director and chairman of the board of REI since 1990 and as chairman of the executive committee. Lamphere is also co-chairman and co-chief executive officer of Noel Group, Inc., chairman and chief executive officer of The Prospect Group, Inc., chairman of the executive committee of Illinois Central Transportation Co., and a director of Illinois Central Corporation, Children's Discovery Centers of America, Inc., Sylvan Foods Holdings, Inc., Global Natural Resources Inc., Cleveland-Cliffs, Inc., R.P. Scherer Inc., The Prospect Group, Inc. and Noel.
 Loose has served as a director of REI since 1990. Loose is also senior vice president and general counsel of REI.
 Vanourek has served as a director and a member of the executive committee of REI since 1989. Vanourek is also president and chief executive officer of REI.
 REI, headquartered in Dallas, manufactures, sells and services automated work processing systems for customers throughout the world.
