RECOGNITION ANNOUNCES PROXY PROCESSING SOLUTION

DALLAS, July 12 /PRNewswire/ -- Recognition International Inc.'s Systems Division announced today the release of a new application for its T4000 series of document processing systems, Proxy Processing. The T4000(TM) Proxy Processing System provides users with the ability to meet the demands of tabulating votes accurately and efficiently. Combining high-performance image technology and the new Intelligent Mark Sense (IMS) detection, the system's T4000 or T4100 transport can process up to 15,000 or up to 30,000 documents per hour (dph) with highly accurate read rates.
Based on an open-architecture platform, the T4000 Proxy Processing System performs detection without the use of timing marks which reduces errors and misreads. In addition to the standard voting character of "X", the system can recognize a straight line, check mark or other variations as a vote. It can also detect the presence of a signature, write-in vote or change of address. Data correction and data completion (such as Director write-ins) are performed utilizing imaging to reduce paper handling while increasing throughput.
The T4000 System also performs additional applications including sales draft processing, image statement rendering, remittance/lockbox applications, dividend check reconciliation and address change detection and processing.
Recognition International Inc., headquartered in Dallas, is a leading international open systems supplier of high-performance document recognition systems, image and workflow software and related customer services.
Recognition is a registered trademark and T4000 is a trademark of Recognition International Inc. in the United States and other countries.
