RECIPIENTS OF AWARDS FOR EXCELLENCE IN LANDSCAPING ANNOUNCED

 HARRISBURG, Pa., March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- The Pennsylvania Nurserymen's Association announced the 1992 Awards for Excellence in Landscaping winners at an Awards Luncheon on Feb. 16 at the Hershey Lodge and Convention Center in Hershey, Pa.
 The winning firms are as follows:
 Residential up to $25,000 category:

 -- Bronze Award: Hively Farm and Nursery, Dover; Site: Delisle Residence, Dover.
 -- Certificate of Merit:
 Huntsville Nursery, Dallas; Site: D'Anca Residence, Shavertown.
 Plantique, Inc., Allentown; Site: Maffeo Residence, Emmaus.
 Plant Place of Meadville, Meadville; Site: Damico Residence, Meadville.
 Residential $25,000 and over category:
 -- Gold Award:
 Lampl Landscape Service & Nursery, Allison Park; Site: Swanns Residence, Gibsonia.
 Plantique, Inc., Allentown; Site: Olex Residence, Allentown.
 -- Silver Award: Joanne Kostecky Garden Design, Bethlehem; Site: Feather Residence, Bethlehem.

 Maintenance Commercial:
 -- Gold Award: Pennink & Arrimour, Inc., Huntingdon Valley; Site: Bristol-Myers Squibb, Lawrenceville, N.J.
 The awards program features six individual categories. Each of the 24 award entries submitted was judged on its own merit and a total of two Gold, two Silver, and two Bronze awards could be presented in any one category. Certificates of Merit presented were unlimited in number.
 Judging the 1992 award entries were: Michael Lehman, 1993 Awards Committee chairman; Thomas McCloud, Appalachian Nurseries, Waynesboro; George Manaker, Temple University; Daniel Stearns, Pennsylvania State University; and Randy Wright, H. Edward Black Landscape Architects.
 The Pennsylvania Nurserymen's Association is a non-profit, professional, trade association dedicated to serving the needs of the grower, garden center and landscape industries in the commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
