RECEPTION TO CELEBRATE OLYMPIC MEDAL-WINNING PARTNERSHIP BETWEEN U.S.
 SHOOTING TEAM AND FEDERAL CARTRIDGE COMPANY
 Medalists Meili and Foth to Give Shooting Demonstration
 WHAT: The United States Shooting Team (USST) will visit Federal Cartridge Company to celebrate winning Olympic gold and silver medals with American-made ammunition. The USST's performance in Barcelona marked the first time in more than 30 years that Americans won medals using ammunition made in the United States.
 WHO: Gold medalist Launi Meili and silver medalist Bob Foth will give a three-position small bore rifle shooting demonstration. USST Executive Director Gary Anderson will discuss the team's Olympic performance and their partnership with Federal. Federal President Ron Mason will congratulate the USST and Federal employees.
 WHEN: Thursday, Sept. 3, 1992
 -- Noon - 1 p.m. reception
 -- 1 - 2 p.m. program/shooting demonstration
 -- 2 - 4 p.m. reception continues
 WHERE: Federal Cartridge Company Clubhouse, 1101 Main Street East, Anoka, Minn., 55303
 Directions: Hwy. 10 west to Anoka; west on Main Street/242; take right turn into clubhouse.
 OTHER DETAILS:
 -- Meili set an Olympic record and became the first American woman to win this event.
 -- Foth is the first American since 1976 to win a medal in the men's competition.
 -- Federal Cartridge Company, in cooperation with the USST, developed the Gold Medal .22 cartridge to eliminate ammunition advantages international shooters have had over Americans in the past.
