REASONS TO BE CONFIDENT.
? Saido Berahino is still in a pin-striped shirt (as opposed to the pin-striped suit he may have to find on the morning of the Everton game a week on Monday). He is quicker in and around the box than he is on the M6... allegedly.
? Tony Pulis hasn't lost a game at The Hawthorns since 2003.
Only three minutes had passed when Graham Laws sent off Albion's Andy Johnson and Stoke's John Eustace after some argy-bargy as the visitors defended a corner. Scott Dobie outpaced Clive Clarke before guiding the ball past Ed de Goey to secure Albion's first win over Stoke - who also had Marcus Hall sent off in the 73rd minute - in 18 attempts.
? Hull City weren't very good as the sides met at the KC Stadium only a few weeks ago. Just one save from Ben Foster. They were lucky to get nil as they were truly terrible.
? Albion have already beaten them at The Hawthorns once this season. Not only did Brown Ideye (pictured) got on the scoresheet as Albion came from 2-1 down to win 3-2 in the League Cup but Sebastian Blanco got a game.
? Hull have injuries. Andrew Robertson, Liam Rosenior and Gaston Ramirez were all injured against Everton. Rosenior has a hamstring tendon injury, Robertson has lateral ankle damage while Ramirez has a grade two adductor longus strain. Michael Dawson, Mohamed Diame and Robert Snodgrass all remain sidelined.
