REAR ADM. R.J. GRICH JOINS STORM INTEGRATION, INC. HERNDON, Va., Feb. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Retired Rear Adm. R.J.
Grich, USN, has joined Storm Integration Inc. of San Jose, Calif., and Herndon as senior associate for business development. Prior to retiring from the Navy, Grich served as deputy commander of the Space and Naval Warfare (SPAWAR) Systems Command in Washington.
Storm Integration is a developer of workstation-based satellite and launch control systems for government and commercial customers. In addition to turnkey systems, Storm provides a full range of complex software systems engineering, development and integration support. Among Storm's customers are Motorola Inc. and Hughes Aircraft Company. A native of Bridgeport, Conn., Grich holds a BEE from Catholic University and a master's in mathematics from Columbia University. After completing the program at the Navy's Post Graduate School in Monterey, Calif., Grich served as chief engineering officer on several surface vessels. He was then assigned shore duty, where he served on the staff of the Commander of Naval Air Forces Atlantic in Norfolk, Va., and in the Program Office of the Naval Sea Systems Command in Washington. After spending a year in Vietnam supporting the Defense Attaches Office, Grich returned to Washington to become the project manager for the construction of the nuclear carriers Nimitz, Eisenhower and Carl Vinson. Prior to his final assignment as deputy commander of the SPAWAR, Grich was the commander of the Naval Shipyard in Pascagoula, Miss. -0- 2/20/92 /CONTACT: Chris R.
