 READING RAILCARS BACK ON TRACK WITH THE U.S. NAVY CELEBRATION
 Reading Railcar Repair will perform a special champagne christening celebration in honor of the acknowledgement of the company's first newly reconditioned railroad freight cars, commissioned by the U.S. Navy.
 This is a joint venture with the government. The publicized ceremony will take place this Friday, March 13, 11 a.m., at 6th and Amity streets, Reading, Pa.
 State, local and federal officials will be present and include: City of Reading representative, Mayor Warren Haggarty; state Sen. Michael O'Pake, city of Reading; J.E. Travis, director, Transportation Equipment Management Center; Bruce Tingen, project manager, U.S. Naval Facilities Engineering Command; Tony Grimm, president, Berks County Chamber of Commerce; Laura Goldy, vice president, Meridian Bank; and the Pennsylvania Minority Business Development Authority.
 Following the ceremony, refreshments and hors d'oeuvres will be served.
 Media coverage is invited.
 Photo opportunity: During the ceremony, a champagne glass will christen these first railcars along with a preceding program of distinguished speakers.
