RCM TECHNOLOGIES AWARDS SYSTEM "99" STUDY
 TO UNITED ENGINEERS & CONSTRUCTORS
PENNSAUKEN, N.J., March 2 /PRNewswire/ -- RCM Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ: RCMT; BSE: RMT) today announced that it has awarded a contract for a comprehensive technological assessment of its advanced hazardous emissions control system, called System "99," to United Engineers & Constructors (UE&C). The study will address three areas: technology, economics, and commercial application. The company expects to have the results of the study in approximately 12 weeks.
UE&C, a Raytheon Company based in Philadelphia, Pa., is a leading engineering firm with extensive experience in the design and construction of desulfurization equipment for the removal of pollutants from flue gases (FGD) in coal-fired power plants. UE&C has also performed many technical and economic evaluations of FGD systems for the Electrical Power Research Institute, which have become standard references for U.S. utility companies.
Leon Kopyt, president of RCM Technologies, said, "We awarded this contract to UE&C because of their proven technological and economic expertise and thorough understanding of the environmental issues faced by electrical utilities, required to find solutions to the hazardous emissions problem in compliance with the Acid Rain legislation. We believe this study will be extremely valuable to the company in further developing System "99" and identifying the most promising marketing opportunities."
RCM Technologies, Inc., through its Intertec Design subsidiary, is primarily involved in providing professional engineering and technical services through 12 offices nationwide, to major corporations in aerospace, chemical and industrial manufacturing.
