RCI INTRODUCES DIMENSION LONG DISTANCE SERVICE
ROCHESTER, N.Y., March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- RCI Long Distance is

pleased to announce the introduction of Dimension, RCI's integrated package of long distance services. RCI is the first long distance company in the industry to bundle its best features into one convenient package, including 800 inbound services. Dimension's product line consists of domestic outbound, 800 inbound services, international, calling card and other value-added services. In addition, Dimension customers can take advantage of a 13 percent savings off of AT&T's Pro-Wats and MCI's Prism Plus rates.
Customers will receive volume discounts based on total usage of all Dimension services. Dimension provides customers with the flexibility of using one service or all services, with no monthly account fee. Dimension also provides customers with the ability to modify or change their level of service at any time. In addition, customers will welcome the simplicity of a straightforward pricing structure. For intrastate and interstate calling, there are just two price levels: one for calls under 100 miles and the other for calls greater than 100 miles. Customers also benefit with six-second billing increments. RCI's Dimension combines flexibility and simplicity in meeting customers' telecommunications needs.
"Dimension has been created as a response to the overwhelming demand from customers for a package of services which is simple to understand and aggregates total usage," stated Ken Conner, manager of RCI product development. "RCI's new billing system is largely responsible for the introduction of Dimension. The system allows RCI to aggregate a customer's total usage in the calculation of volume discounts. In turn, Dimension customers can take full advantage of our new billing technology, while simplifying their telecommunications needs," concluded Conner.
RCI Long Distance, a subsidiary of Rochester Tel (NYSE: RTC), provides a full range of long distance voice and data communications services for business and residential customers. RCI's digital network provides high-quality service on a global basis, and via its affiliates, Rochester Tel Mobile Communications and Rotelcom Network Systems, provides an integrated solution for all long-distance, cellular and Call Center technology needs.
