RCCI appeals business community to observe strike in peaceful manner.
Chairing a special meeting of RCCI, he said ensuring safety to public and private property was equal responsibility of every citizen. The meeting was attended among others by Vice President Choudhry Iqbal
Ahmed, Group Leader Najam-ul-Haq Malik, Former Presidents Najam Rehan, Syed Asad Mashadi, Presidents of different Markazi Anjuman-e-Tajaran of Rawalpindi District Sh. Mohammad Siddique, Shahid Ghafoor Piracha, Saleem Sheikh, Sheikh Mohammad Hafeez, Shirjeel Mir, Tahir Taj Bhatti, Haroon Shah, Zafar Qadri and Qadir Mir.
Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry has also decided to fully support the trade bodies' strike call. Different traders organizations of the city and Cantonment have given call to observe complete shutter down strike against power loadshedding on June 23.
It was a unanimous view of the meeting that the Industry and business community of Rawalpindi region is suffering due to severe electricity crises. He said the increasing unemployment and inflation are creating problems for the commonman. The economy of the country is consistently declining, the RCCI President said. He said RCCI always played role in raising voice for the rights of the business community.
