RAYTHEON WINS $74 MILLION AIR FORCE CONTRACT

 LEXINGTON, Mass., June 22 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) has won a $74 million U.S. Air Force contract to produce 20 command post terminals for the Milstar satellite communications system.
 Raytheon will build the satellite terminals at its Equipment Division Manufacturing plant in Waltham, Mass., over the next three and a half years.
 Milstar, or Military Strategic and Tactical Relay System, is designed to provide secure, jam-resistant communications for U.S. military forces worldwide.
 Raytheon is the leader in the U.S. in providing Milstar communications terminals for the Army, Navy, and Air Force.
 Headquartered in Lexington, Mass., Raytheon is a $9 billion diversified technology company with sales in four business segments: Electronics, Aircraft Products, Energy and Environmental, and Major Appliances.
