 RAYTHEON UNIT WINS WASTE-TO-ENERGY CONTRACT
 LEXINGTON, Mass., Sept. 8 /PRNewswire/ -- United Engineers &


Constructors Inc. (UE&C), a unit of Raytheon Company, has been awarded an engineering and construction contract by Ogden Martin Systems of Lee, Inc. for a new $125 million waste-to-energy facility in Lee County, near Fort Myers, Fla.
 UE&C in Philadelphia will provide the facility's engineering, detailed design, equipment procurement support, and project management. Yeargin Inc., a UE&C affiliate in Greenville, S.C., will construct the 40-megawatt facility, which is targeted for completion in the summer of 1994.
 Raytheon Company, headquartered in Lexington, Mass., is a $9.3 billion diversified technology company with sales in four business segments: Electronics, Aircraft Products, Energy and Environmental, and Major Appliances.
