RAYTHEON UNIT WINS CONTRACT FOR LOST CABIN GAS PROCESSING PROJECT

 LEXINGTON, Mass., Oct. 7 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) announced today that its Raytheon Engineers & Constructors subsidiary has been awarded a fixed-price contract valued at more than $60 million by The Louisiana Land & Exploration Company for the completion of the design, equipment procurement, and construction of a sour gas processing plant to be located in central Wyoming.
 The facility, known as the Lost Cabin Gas Plant, will be operated by The Louisiana Land & Exploration Company and will process gas from two existing and any future Madison Formation Wells in the Madden Deep Unit located in Fremont County, Wyo.
 Completion of the facility is expected in December 1994 and plant start-up by early spring 1995.
