RAYTHEON UNIT WINS AWARD FOR KOREAN LUBE OIL PLANT
LEXINGTON, Mass. July 1 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company

(NYSE: RTN) announced that its The Badger Company subsidiary has been awarded a contract by Yukong Limited for a lube oil plant at Ulsan, Korea.
Badger will provide engineering services from its offices in Cambridge, Mass., and procurement and supervision services and construction assistance in Korea.
The cost for the plant, which is scheduled to be completed in early 1995, has not been released.
When in full operation, the plant will produce 4,000 barrels per day of lube oils and will supply one-third of Korea's demand for lubricants.
Yukong currently purchases lube oil stocks for blending into end products at its Ulsan site. The new plant will enable Yukong to produce its own lube oil stocks.
The contract is the second one Yukong has awarded Badger for this project. Badger previously completed the feasibility study and process configuration evaluation.
The project is the third major one Badger has worked on at the site. In 1985, Badger completed an aromatics complex for Yukong. In 1990, it completed a propylene oxide/styrene monomer plant for Yukong Arco.
The Badger Company is an international engineering and construction firm which provides technology and services to the petroleum, chemical, polymer, and environmental process industries.
Raytheon Company is a $9.3 billion diversified technology company with sales in four business segments: Electronics, Aircraft Products, Energy and Environmental, and Major Appliances.
