RAYTHEON RECEIVES SIDEWINDER HARDWARE, SERVICES CONTRACT
 LEXINGTON, Mass., Sept. 30 /PRNewswire/ -- The U.S. Navy's Air Systems Command has awarded a $6.4 million contract to Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) for Sidewinder missile fuzes and associated hardware and services.
 The award calls for Raytheon to manufacture 701 Active Optional Target Detector Fuzes to support foreign military sales.
 The fuzes will be manufactured at Raytheon's Missile Systems Division facility in Lowell, Mass. Delivery is scheduled for completion by November 1994.
 The contract represents the 13th consecutive annual award of Sidewinder target detector fuzes to Raytheon, which has been the sole supplier of this component to the Navy for the past three years.
 Raytheon, headquartered in Lexington, Mass., is a $9.3 billion, diversified technology company with sales in four business segments: Electronics, Aircraft Products, Energy and Environmental, and Major Appliances.
