RAYTHEON NAMES L'ESPERANCE AS PRESIDENT OF ITS CALORIC CORPORATION
 LEXINGTON, Mass., April 14/PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYCE: RTN) has named Thomas F. L'Esperance as president of its Caloric Corporation subsidiary, effective immediately. He succeeds Thomas D. Hall,who resigned.
 L'Esperance will oversee Caloric's operations in Florence, S.C., and Delaware, Ohio. He will report to Robert L. Swam, vice president and group executive for Raytheon's Appliance Group.
 L'Esperance has been with Raytheon since 1971 and has broad experience within the company's controller's organization. Most recently he had been a special assistant to Raytheon President Max E. Bleck.
 L'Esperance earlier held a number of positions within Raytheon's Missile Systems Division, including: controller of the Oxnard, Calif., facility; business manager for Saudi Programs and manager of new ventures/proposals. He has also been a cost proposal coordinator on staff to Raytheon's corporate controller.
 Caloric Corporation sells a full line of gas, electric, microwave and combination cooking ranges and other appliances under the Caloric, Modern Maid, Glenwood and Sunray brand names.
 In addition to Caloric, Raytheon's Appliance Group consists of Amana Refrigeration, Inc., and Speed Queen Company. The Appliance Group is one of four business segments at Raytheon, a $9.3 billion diversified, international, technology-based company.
