 RAYTHEON MACHINISTS UNION RATIFIES NEW TWO-YEAR PACT
 PORTSMOUTH, R.I., March 9 /PRNewswire/ -- A new two-year collective


bargaining agreement covering 400 production and maintenance workers at Raytheon Company's Portsmouth, R.I., operations was announced today by E. Leonard Kane, senior vice president of Human Resources at Raytheon, and John R. Capobianco, directing business representative of District 64 of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
 The agreement contains improvements in wages, pensions, and group insurance. It also provides for improved vacation, accident and sickness, and maternity benefits.
 The agreement, retroactively effective to March 1, 1992, was reached after the parties had extended the contract to continue negotiations. Federal mediator Paul Chabot assisted the parties in reaching the accord.
