RAYTHEON AWARDED $69 MILLION CONTRACT FOR TRIDENT COMPONENTS

 LEXINGTON, Mass. April 6 /PRNewswire/ -- Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) has been awarded a $69 million contract to provide guidance components for the Trident missile program.
 Raytheon's Equipment Division operation in Sudbury, Mass., will provide radiation-hardened semiconductors and engineering services under a contract awarded by the Naval Strategic Systems Programs Command.
 The follow-on contract represents the eighth tactical production buy for this program dating back to 1986. Raytheon has been a major participant in the Navy's fleet ballistic missile program for more than 30 years.
 Raytheon, headquartered in Lexington, Mass., is a $9 billion diversified technology company with sales in four business segments: Electronics, Aircraft Products, Energy and Environmental, and Major Appliances.
