RANGER OIL (U.K) LTD. PLUGS WELL 29/4b-3 CALGARY, Alberta, Sept. 11 /PRNewswire/ -- Ranger Oil (U.K.) Ltd.
(NYSE: RGO; Toronto, Montreal: RGO) as farm-in operator, today announced that the well 29/4b-3, some 150 miles east of Aberdeen, Scotland, is being plugged and abandoned.
The well was drilled to a total depth of 19,268 feet under a farm-in agreement from Arco, Shell and Esso. Ranger Oil (U.K.) Ltd. and Elf Exploration UK PLC, the farm-in partners, have fulfilled their farm-in obligation and have each earned a 12.12575 percent interest in Block 29/4b.
