RAND CAM/DIRECT CHARGE ENGINE COMMENCES TESTING ON DYNAMOMETER

 VANCOUVER, British Columbia, July 16 /PRNewswire/ -- Reg Technologies Inc. (Vancouver: RRE; OTC Bulletin Board: REGRF) today announced that the Rand Cam/Direct Charge engine prototype is installed on a motoring dynamometer test stand. Low-speed motoring tests are presently being conducted.
 The ignition system, including the timing system for both spark plugs is installed. An initial vane seal design has been fabricated and installed on several of the vanes before this initial testing.
 Additional components such as the side seals between the rotor and stator are being added one at a time. The engine is then being motored to verify that each part is functioning properly. The carburetors are ready for installation.
 Researchers at the Center for Industrial Research Applications at West Virginia University have scheduled high- and low-speed video monitoring and recording of the initial firing tests, supplemented by 35-millimeter photographs of the test and engine hardware to document the pre-test condition of the parts.
 Reg Technologies Inc. also announced that Mr. Pat Badgley, BME (Ohio State) has joined the company as a director. Mr. Badgley is currently the director of Research and Development for Adlabatics Inc., an advanced-engine research and development company. Mr. Badgley has more than 27 years experience in engineering, all directly related to engines, including diesel, gas turbines and Wankel rotary.
 The Rand Cam/Direct Charge engine is a unique rotary engine with a power-to-weight ration of one horsepower for every three-quarters of a pound of engine weight. The engine will deliver high horsepower at low RPMs (1,500) with a smooth, even and vibration-free performance. The only moving parts of this engine are six vanes and a rotor.
