RAMTRON APPOINTS VICE PRESIDENT OF MANUFACTURING
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo., March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Ramtron

International Corporation, a majority-owned subsidiary of Ramtron Holdings Ltd. (ADR - NASDAQ: MEMRY), today announced the appointment of DR. Glen G. Possley as vice president of manufacturing, reporting to Ramtron's chairman and CEO, George J. Stathakis. This position, effective April 1, 1992, will serve Ramtron's growing manufacturing needs for high-volume production of ferroelectric RAM and other products.
Possley has over 22 years experience in the semiconductor business in operations management, product and process development, and engineering. Most recently Possley was vice president of operations at SunDisk, a manufacturer of solid-state mass storage systems for new portable computing platforms. Possley's earlier experience includes executive positions in manufacturing operations for Signetics Company and Mostek-United Technologies Corporation, and management operations at Texas Instruments and Motorola, Inc.
Possley's appointment follows the recent announcement of the company's low-density ferroelectric random access memory (FRAM)(R) products. "Glen brings the manufacturing experience that is needed to move Ramtron from the development phase to full product commercialization. Glen's impressive background in manufacturing and operations is a definite plus for our organization," commented Stathakis.
Ramtron International Corporation, founded in 1984, develops, manufactures, and markets leading-edge semiconductor memory products based on ferroelectric materials with unique non-volatile and high dielectric constant storage characteristics. The company's products include non-volatile FRAM memories and complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) high-performance dynamic random access memories (DRAMs). Ramtron holds over 29 international patents covering its proprietary technologies and products, and has more than 60 additional patents pending.
