RAK Ruler pardons 85 prisoners.

Summary: RAS AL-KHAIMAH -- His Highness Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, has ordered the release of 85 multi-national prison inmates, who proved good conduct, while serving their jail terms, from the Department of Penal and Correctional Institutions in the emirate of Ras al-Khaimah.

RAS AL-KHAIMAH -- His Highness Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Supreme Council member and Ruler of Ras al-Khaimah, has ordered the release of 85 multi-national prison inmates, who proved good conduct, while serving their jail terms, from the Department of Penal and Correctional Institutions in the emirate of Ras al-Khaimah.

Shaikh Saud will incur the financial charges and fines against those covered by the amnesty.

The RAK Ruler's humanitarian gesture comes only days ahead of Eidul Adha to let the released prisons celebrate and enjoy Eid with their families, and get incorporated into the community as well.

Ahmed Mohammed Al Khateri, Head of the Courts Department in RAK, thanked the RAK Ruler for his kind gesture, indicating that the pardon gives the released prisons a new chance to get reunited with their families, especially in these blessed days.

He added that the release of prisoners reflects the human values and tolerance cherished by President His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum and Members of Supreme Council, Their Highnesses Rulers of emirates.

Al Khateri hopes that the amnesty will inspire the released prisoners to repent and begin a righteous life.
