RADYNE CORP. ANNOUNCES REORGANIZATION OF ITS BOARD OF DIRECTORS AND MANAGEMENT

 RONKONKOMA, N.Y., Jan. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Radyne Corp. (OTC symbol: RDYN) today announced major changes in its organizational structure including the appointment of Bill Kinsella as its Chief Operating Officer. Mr. Kinsella has more than 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry, having previously worked for GTE, Comsat and Intelsat. He is a world renowned expert in the satellite communications field.
 The Board of Directors has been reduced to five members, with a majority being outside Directors. Mr. Burt Walker, previously the President of the Company, has resigned from the Board as have two other Officer/Directors. Mr. Walker has been retained as a full-time consultant to the Company.
 The Board is conducting a search for a Chief Executive Officer. Pending the hiring of a CEO, a three-member Executive Committee of the Board of Directors consisting of Julius Goldfinger, Christer Sigmundt and Alan Entenman will perform this function. Radyne is initiating a cost reduction program which management anticipates will stem the current operational losses.
 The Executive Committee stated, "The streamlined Board of Directors and new management will permit Radyne Corp. to aggressively address the fulfillment of its business plan." These changes should facilitate the financing which the company is currently seeking and lead to accelerated long-term growth which should increase stockholder value.
 Radyne Corp. is a supplier of high technology equipment for the international telecommunications market.
