HILLSBORO, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 21, 1997--RadiSys Corporation today announced that it began shipping version 1.0 of its INtime(TM) software product to customers worldwide as of June 30, 1997.

INtime adds hard real-time capabilities to Microsoft Windows NT/a for use in applications that require mission-critical performance and determinism along with the ease-of- use, familiar user interface, and connectivity of standard Windows NT.

"We have successfully met every deadline and design milestone we've set in the development of INtime," said Alex Doumani, general manager of RadiSys' Embedded Software Operation. "Customers are demanding real-time capabilities for Windows NT that they can count on now and long into the future. With INtime, they get a proven solution, right now, from a large, stable organization that will support their needs long term."

RadiSys has a track record for their real-time solutions and is providing the most complete and immediate solution available," said Nat Framton, Senior Controls Engineer for ATR. "Most importantly, they are delivering now."

Banctec makes check processing transport systems for the banking industry and needed to standardize on a single operating system based on a real-time, multitasking kernel.
