RADIATION SYSTEMS, INC., ANNOUNCES $2.3 MILLION CONTRACTS

 STERLING, Va., Oct. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- Radiation Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS: RADS) announced today that its Technical Products Division in Sterling and its Electromechanical Systems Division in Largo, Fla., have been awarded a contract by Rockwell Company to provide the ground antenna systems and spare parts for the low data rate EHF Milstar program. In addition, the Anghel Laboratories Division, Rockaway, N.J., received orders from both Rockwell Company and Raytheon Company (NYSE: RTN) for frequency multipliers and amplifiers associated with the ground systems. These new awards, totaling over $2.3 million, will be performed over a 20-month period.
 Radiation Systems' Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Richard E. Thomas said, "These contracts, when added to our previously announced $8.9 million contract from Raytheon Company for the EHF Milstar program, brings the total value of Radiation Systems' combined contributions to the EHF Milstar program to more than $11.2 million."
 Radiation Systems, Inc., designs, manufactures and installs a broad range of antenna turnkey systems and components for radar, air traffic control, tactical military, satellite communications, terrestrial microwave and broadcast and other specialized uses throughout the world.
