 RADA ELECTRONIC INDUSTRIES ANNOUNCES PURCHASE
 OF BUILDING IN AMSTERDAM
HERZLIYA PITUACH, Israel, Jan. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- RADA Electronic Industries Limited (NASDAQ: RADIF) announced today that it has purchased a building in the central area of Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
The 3,300-square-foot facility, which was purchased for approximately $400,000, will function as the company's management and marketing center for Europe.
RADA is intensifying its efforts to expand its business in the European civilian and military markets. Currently the company is exploring possibilities with several European airlines, including K.L.M., British Airways, and British Midland, for the sale of its CATS test equipment for commercial airlines.
The company believes there is significant potential for the sale of its products to the European military market, principally with respect to its advanced data computers for various aircraft. The company's data computer is one of the most advanced products of its kind. RADA also produces and sells various automated testing devices for aircraft, naval and electronic systems.
The new Amsterdam facility will also serve the company's wholly owned subsidiary, Adar Active Technologies B.V., which is engaged in the distribution and sale of electronic components in Western and Eastern Europe. Adar, which initiated its operations 14 months ago, had encouraging year-end results for 1991 with sales of approximately $3.7 million. It recently opened a sales office in Romania.
RADA, an Israeli-based corporation with subsidiaries in the United States and Europe, is engaged in the design, development and manufacture of computers, avionic equipment and automated test equipment and in the distribution and sale of electronic components.
