R.R. DONNELLEY FORMS KOREAN JOINT VENTURE

 CHICAGO, Sept. 24 /PRNewswire/ -- R.R. Donnelley and Sons Company (NYSE: DNY) and the owners of Korea Computer Service have formed a joint venture called Donnelley Korea Co., Ltd. R.R. Donnelley International, Inc., is the majority owner of the new company, which provides computer diskette replication and packaging services for hardware manufacturers and software publishers targeting the Korean market, including Microsoft Corp.
 "The timing is ideal for our entry into the maturing Korean market," said Ed Tyler, president of R.R. Donnelley's Documentation Services Group. "The PC market in Korea is growing rapidly, and there is an increasing demand for authorized, regional software replication operations such as ours."
 Tyler added that the venture will double its disk replication capacity and relocate to a new, 11,000-square-foot facility in Sungnam, a satellite city of Seoul.
