 PRINTING JOINT VENTURE IN THE UNITED KINGDOM
 CHICAGO, March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- R.R. Donnelley (UK) Ltd., the London-based financial printing subsidiary of R.R. Donnelley and Sons Company (NYSE: DNY), and Pindar Graphics London, a subsidiary of G.A. Pindar and Son Ltd. and one of the United Kingdom's most progressive printers, have formed a joint venture -- R.R. Donnelley Pindar.
 By utilizing the global resources of R.R. Donnelley's Financial Printing Services Group, the joint venture will meet the needs of the financial services industry as well as Pindar Graphics' traditional commercial business. It will operate in London from R.R. Donnelley's facility on Worship Street and Pindar's facility in Feltham, with access to printing and typesetting facilities throughout the United Kingdom, the United States, continental Europe and the Far East.
 "The new business is an example of the philosophy of both groups, which aim to form strategic partnerships in circumstances where the customer will benefit from our respective strengths and the much enhanced printing and binding facilities," said Andrew Pindar, chief executive of G.A. Pindar and Son Ltd.

The company operates printing plants, service centers, sales offices and subsidiaries in more than 100 locations in North America, the Caribbean, Europe and Asia.
 G.A. Pindar and Son Ltd. is a family owned group with businesses in Scarborough, York, London, Preston and Edinburgh, plus export activities in Europe. Pindar has more than 700 employees in the United Kingdom and turnover in excess of 30 million pounds sterling. Most of its growth has occurred during the last 35 years, particularly in typesetting and prepress, for which Pindar is acknowledged as a pioneering company.
