 R.R. DONNELLEY ACQUIRES SPECIALTY PRINTER IN INDIANA
 CHICAGO, Nov. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- R.R. Donnelley and Sons Company, the


world's largest commercial printer, has purchased American Inline Graphics, Inc., a specialty and direct-mail printer in Seymour, Ind.
 "This acquisition is our first entry into the growing specialty and direct-response products industry,'' explained E. Patrick Duffy, president of R.R. Donnelley's Catalog Group. "Our new subsidiary gives us in-line finishing capabilities that allow us to extend our product line and offer our customers an array of creative formats."

 Founded in 1987, American Inline Graphics produces envelop order forms, promotional products, games and inkjet-imaged direct mail from its 45,000-square-foot plant.
 R.R. Donnelley is the world's largest printer of catalogs, newspaper advertising inserts, magazines, books, directories, financial printing and computer documentation. Founded in Chicago in 1864, the company employs more than 30,000 people and operates printing plants, sales offices, service centers and subsidiaries in over 100 locations in North America, Europe, the Caribbean and Asia.
