R.R. DONNELLEY ACQUIRES ELT IN IRELAND

 CHICAGO, June 7 /PRNewswire/ -- R.R. Donnelley and Sons Company (NYSE: DNY) has purchased European Language Translations Limited (ELT), a localization company based in Dublin, Ireland.
 "ELT is geographically close to many of our computer customers who maintain European headquarters in Ireland, which means we can offer them local support through a highly qualified organization," said Ed Tyler, president of R.R. Donnelley's Documentation Services Group.
 In 1992 ELT became the first localization company to earn ISO 9002 accreditation. Founded in 1988, ELT employs 40 full-time people in Dublin and works with a qualified panel of more than 150 language professionals throughout Europe. In addition to localization and translation, its services include software development, technical writing and electronic publishing.
 ELT is the latest in a series of acquisitions, extending R.R. Donnelley's localization presence to Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Dublin, Ireland; Paris; Stuttgart, Germany; Madrid, Spain; Lisbon, Portugal; Zaventem, Belgium; Oslo, Norway; Uppsala, Sweden; Hong Kong; and Tokyo.
