R. JAMES WOOLSEY LEAVES MARTIN MARIETTA BOARD

 BETHESDA, Md., Feb. 5 /PRNewswire/ -- Martin Marietta (NYSE: ML) said R. James Woolsey has resigned from the corporation's board of directors to join the administration of President Clinton as director of the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency.
 Woolsey was elected to Martin Marietta's board in October 1991. His resignation, effective immediately, reduces membership of Martin Marietta's board to 14.
