R&B, INC. APPOINTS R. CLARKE MILLER DIRECTOR OF ENGINEERING

 COLMAR, Pa., Jan. 15 /PRNewswire/ -- R. Clarke Miller was recently named director of engineering for R&B, Inc. (NASDAQ: RBIN), where he will report directly to the vice president of engineering.
 His duties involve coordinating a variety of engineering support functions -- including research, design, documentation, prototype/first- article analysis, and laboratory activities -- while developing and standardizing specifications and procedures. Miller brings to this new position a broad management and engineering background in designing and manufacturing computers and process-control equipment.
 Before joining R&B, Inc., Miller had an eight-year tenure with the Unisys Corporation as both a Staff Mechanical Engineer and a Mechanical Engineering Section Manager, where his duties included supervising a diverse engineering staff; managing the cost-reduction, retooling, and manufacturing support functions of personal computer production; and ensuring mechanical and environmental compliance. A 1958 mechanical engineering graduate of Drexel University, Miller has held a variety of engineering and managerial positions with the General Electric, Honeywell, and Sperry corporations. He is co-founder of the former Dataterm, Inc., where he created a state-of-the-art photoelectric paper tape reader.
 Miller's interest include ongoing, comprehensive automotive restoration projects. He is a member of the Pi Tau Sigma National Honorary Mechanical Engineering Fraternity, and was issued six patents for designing the complete chart module and mechanical portion of an industrial recorder servo drive.
 R&B, Inc., is a well-known and respected designer, manufacturer, and distributor of replacement automotive and marine parts. Headquartered in Colmar, the company trades on the NASDAQ exchange under the symbol RBIN.
