Quiz the politicians.

People will have the chance to have their say on some of the burning issues making the headlines as the BBC's flagship political discussion programme visits Dumfries. The Easterbrook Hall is to host a recording of Question Time on Thursday, with host David Dimbleby and an audience grilling senior political figures.

Confirmed panellists include ex-Scottish Labour leader Kezia Dugdale and Tory peer Michael Forsyth.

Other guests have not been confirmed yet.

Dimbleby said: "I'm looking forward to bringing Question Time to Dumfries. What really matters is that we have a lively audience who want to speak their mind.

"It's a chance for the town to get its voice heard not just by politicians but right across the UK."

People interested in being part of the audience can find an application form at bbc.co.uk/questiontime or telephone 0330 123 9988.

The show is to be aired on January 25 at 10.45pm.
