Quiz contest for school students.

Byline: Arab News

JEDDAH: Indian Islahi Center in Jeddah is holding an online educational quiz contest for all Class VIII to XII students in the Kingdom as part of its silver jubilee celebrations.

The winner of the first place in the contest will receive a laptop computer while the second place winner will get a digital camera and third place winner a mobile phone, the organizers said.

"The answers submitted online will be evaluated and 20 toppers selected for an extempore contest. Ten of the twenty will be short-listed for a third contest on July 4 in front of an audience," they said. The last date for submitting the result of the online contest is June 30. The quiz may be accessed online at

"A participant can submit only one set of answers. If more than one set of answers are submitted, all the entries will be considered invalid. However, if it is convinced that multiple entries were due to some technical error (e.g. pressing the "submit" button twice by mistake), the first entry will be considered as the genuine one," organizers said.

A participant after submitting the entry may confirm the receipt, by calling Tel. 6571566, the next day after 7 p.m. If for some reason it is found out that the entry is not received, he/she may seek the advice of the organizers in this regard.
