Global Banking News - 09 July 2019

Quip, a maker of electric toothbrushes, has said that it will soon be launching a dental insurance alternative in the US.

The firm said that it will be offering customers in New York City the new service that has been made possible through an acquisition. Called Quip Care, the service is to operate using services from Afora, a dental insurance alternative start-up that Quip acquired last May.

Quip Care is expected to modernise the US dental care experience.
