Quincy eyes dream move.

QUINCY Owusu-Abeyie is set to clinch a dream move to the Premiership after being released by Birmingham City boss Alex McLeish earlier this month.

Quincy spent last week training with Tottenham in a bid to try to convince White Hart Lane boss Harry Redknapp to hand him a contract.

Ghanaian international Quincy, 22, joined Birmingham on loan in August from Spartak Moscow.

He made 13 starts - scoring three goals - before McLeish decided not to take up Birmingham's option to extend the loan for the rest of the season.

McLeish has put the money saved on a new loan fee and Quincy's wages to good use as it has helped to finance the arrivals of Keith Fahey, Robin Shroot, Scott Sinclair, Hameur Bouazza and Lee Bowyer.
