Quest Software to integrate Microsoft Windows Powershell.

Quest Software, Inc. have announced it will be among the first ISV partners to support Microsoft Windows PowerShell, Microsoft's next-generation command-line and scripting environment. The first Quest product to support and extend Windows PowerShell will be ActiveRoles Server, Quest's solution for Active Directory-based management of the user lifecycle, including provisioning, re-provisioning and de-provisioning. Compatibility with Windows PowerShell will be the first step toward Quest's support of Microsoft Longhorn Server. Quest ActiveRoles Server is an enterprise class policy-based Active Directory management platform that provides:

* Automated, scriptable policy enforcement for all Active Directory administrative activities

* Flexible role-based Active Directory administration

* Ease of extending Active Directory across heterogeneous enterprises
