Quest Construction Products acquired by GAF.

North American roofing manufacturer GAF has agreed to acquire Quest Construction Products (QCP), a division of Quest Specialty Chemicals. The transaction is subject to customary closing conditions.

The acquisition of QCP, a major supplier of fluid-applied roofing systems and coating solutions in North America, will give GAF a larger scale and geographic footprint as well as the resources to offer a broader range of solutions in the marketplace.

QCP and GAF both focus on the unique technical skills necessary to install fluid-applied roofing systems, coating solutions, and pavement coatings. In recent years, GAF has made significant investments to its commercial platform to maintain the product quality and high contractor standards that QCP has set for the FlydroStop, United Coatings, and StreetBond brands in the marketplace.
