Queer kids vs. Mean Girls.

THOUGH THE LORNE Michaels--produced comedy Mean Girls boasts a slew of Saturday Night Live scene-stealers--Ana Gasteyer, Amy Poehler, and the script's writer, Tina Fey--newcomers Daniel Franzese (Party Monster) and Lizzy Caplan (Freaks and Geeks), as the school's two-person gay mafia, are generating plenty of buzz of their own. Franzese's big gay Damian and Caplan's goth goddess Janis convince Cady, the naive new girl in school (Freaky Friday's Lindsay Lohan), that the best way to bring down the school's insufferable clique of popular girls, known as "the plastics," is to infiltrate their ranks.

Mayhem ensues, and according to Lohan, getting there was half the fun. "There are so many outtakes from the scenes with me, Daniel, and Lizzy--whenever we worked together, we could never stop laughing." Outsiders rule!
